Tailgating Lot ($20): (Opens at Noon on a first come, first served basis) Park at Wich Park off 60. RV's and big vehicles must register in advance by calling 722-8793.

Ready, Set, Run!

Ready, Set, Run! is a character-building running program that trains kids ages 8-13 to participate in a 5k run. This curriculum-based program equips kids with the physical training and goal-setting mentality needed to accomplish their running goals. Issues like enhancing confidence and self-esteem, respecting authority, dealing with peer pressure and fueling their bodies through proper nutrition are covered during the 12-week session. Above all, kids have a blast seeing what they are capable of achieving!

Ready, Set, Run began as an idea in 2009 and much research, love, and passion has been poured in to get it up & running. The response from our members has been phenomenal! We began piloting the program in Spring 2011 and look forward to all of the lives we might have the chance to impact in the future.

Dates: 6/24/13 and ends with the Simpsonville Fall Festival 5K on 9/14/13

Co-Rec Softball at its finest! Season begins April 25th and will end by June 27th. We have a flexible game scheduling system sure to accomodate any team's busy schedule.

Cost: $400 per team

Fall Festival Vendor Booth Rental Forms

Plans are under way for the 24^th Annual Simpsonville Fall Festival that will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2013. This is the primary fundraiser for our Parks and Recreation Department and your participation will ensure that this event is a huge success. Once again we will be providing an area for Vending, Arts and Crafts and Community Information as part of our festivities.

This would be the perfect chance to:

Meet people
Answer questions about your business
Hand out flyers and business cards
Sell your product
Let the people of our area know what your business or organization has to offer

(No Food, Drink, or Game Vendors of any Kind allowed)

Booth spaces are available and will be assigned on a first come first served basis.

Booth Spaces will be available for set-up any time from Friday, September 13^th,

6:00 PM until Saturday, September 14^th, 8:00 AM (security on grounds).

Booths are open Saturday from 8:00 am till End of event.

Prices are:

Rental Space: 10 x 10- $35.00

(Tents are not provided but you are welcome to bring your own)

Optional: 8ft Rental Tables are $12.00 and Chairs $4.00 each

(Tables and Chairs are limited)

Fall Festival Little Miss & Mr Pageant

Date: Saturday, September 14th, 2013

Start: 11am

Location: Simpsonville Gymnasium

Entry Fee: $20

Age groups: Both Boy & Girl ages Newborn-6 mos, 7 mos-11 mos, 1 yr, 2 yr, 3-5 yr & 5-6 yr

Rules:

1. No formal wear. Sunday outfits or casual wear only.

2. Must reach age category before 9/14/13.

3. Evaluated on interview, personality, poise appearance.

4. Bouncing baby, Duke & Duchess must be accompanied by an adult on stage.

5. One winner in each category.

6. Categories/ age groups may be combined on pageant day.

7. All contestants are encouraged to march in the 1pm parade.

Late/ Race day Fee: $30

Course: Gently rolling hills through Cardinal Club Estates in Simpsonville, KY. Course begins and finishes at the Simpsonville Gym.. Water stops throughout the course.

Divisions: Youth 12u & 13-17

Adult 18-29, 30-39, 40-49, 50-59, 60 & up

Awards: Overall 1st & 2nd for Men, Women and youth & winners of each division.
